We used this video to launch our unit on government. Students will be learning about the three different levels of government in Canada. This is a great time to be having conversations with your child about voting as the municipal election is on October 20 as well as the provincial referendum on our current voting system.
In French, we have been learning how to count to 31, say the days of the week and the months of the year, and to say the date and weather. Next up? We will be learning some simple Halloween vocabulary. Here is a link to my Quizlet page which is a great way for students to practice French at home if they wish to!
On Friday, students met their little buddy class for the first time - Ms. Oades' grade one class. We went outdoors and did some crayon rubbings for different textures while students got to know each other.
