I want to take a minute to extend a warm welcome to all of you who are dropping by The Friesen Files. This is a place where I will hopefully help you stay connected to the learning that is taking place in your child's classroom. I will be posting updates on current areas of study and upcoming events across many subjects areas, and of course, school-wide. Thanks for stopping by.
We are beginning our first week together as a class, and it is important that we begin to build our sense of community in order to have a great year of learning and belonging. So we will be spending time everyday this week, getting to know one another, as well as creating a contract for our classroom community. On Wednesday night, there will be a Meet the Staff event starting at 6 pm. This will be an opportunity for you to see our classroom and find out how to support your child this year. I hope you all can make it!
