Goodbyes

Well, tomorrow is our last day. We have finished strong.

The following is just a sampling of how we have spent our last few weeks:

• We have made a special notebook with our kindergarten buddies. Tomorrow we will give it to them as a gift. I have been impressed with the caring Division 11 students have shown their little buddies! They have been terrific role models.
• Our class newspaper should be completed tomorrow! The students have made a collaborative effort in completing this huge undertaking.
• We have been racing to complete our Book Club novels. Hopefully we can share our scrapbooks tomorrow!
• We have been doing Math Minutes almost daily. Our goal was over 50 out of a 100. This is a great summer goal to keep up.
• Camp Read was a fun day! Students enjoyed gathering at the "camp fire", or what is actually our carpet meeting spot! They made great summer reading recommendations to their classmates.
• What a beautiful day for our trip to Vandusen Gardens! Thanks to the moms that walked with us. Students completed a scavenger hunt-type activity in the morning with more play and group bonding after lunch!

I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy summer! Thanks again for all the support!
