Funny story. Have you heard about the teacher that planned a field trip for the wrong day? Well, that's what appeared to have happened with our field trip today. We showed up at the Museum of Anthropology only to find that it was the festival for the secondary students and Tuesday was for the elementary students. I assumed that it was my mistake and luckily for us, the Museum staff took care of us, assimilating us with two small high school groups for different workshops. The students were the true stars of the day. They rolled with the changes and represented Wolfe well. In fact, they were great role models to the high school students about social responsibility and respect!
As it turns out, I was given the wrong information via email. The school board sent me an agenda for the day with the wrong date printed at the top! So I feel somewhat vindicated that my 18 year record of successful field trip planning is still intact! Still, a funny story nonetheless.
